One of the scarier parts of the hatch of beach nesting bird eggs is the nighttime. Here you can see Jimin incubating his and Myrtle’s eggs just a few moments ago, probably for the last time this season. The nest is due to hatch, imminently.
But even though Jimin & Myrtle have hidden their eggs insanely deep in the vegetation this year, you can still hear the tiny chirps of the babies coming from inside the eggs.
And if you can hear it, so can every creature roaming around hungry in the dark tonight! Best of luck to you Jimin & Myrtle.
