The recent Reading Mama Hoo Hoo & Francisco mean business told the story of the new family’s attempts to takeover the territory of Plover Park’s alpha birds, Lindsey Buckingham & Goldie.
While Francisco did manage to pull a feather from Lindsey and force him to bow down in surrender, that was but one small battle in a war that continues to rage.
Francisco & Mama Hoo Hoo have impressively managed to push deeper into Lindsey & Goldie’s territory than expected, but the front line is being held around the Magic Double Brood Nest, and Mama Hoo Hoo is stalled.
This new photo is just a single moment in the rich lives of these tiny little creatures in the park. When people who don’t see, and don’t know, these animals, innocently ask “does the protected area really need to be so big?” it’s hard to explain just how small it is in comparison to the number of local animals who are so desperate for it, they are willing to fight to find a place for their families!
